Weekly Affirmation
I celebrate change. I rejoice in the unfolding adventure that is my life, that is my spiritual community, that is my unfolding spiritual experience. I know that the nature of all life is change, and I embrace that reality with a sense of curiosity, playfulness and adventure. Yay and amen! And so it is.

I celebrate that I am at choice. I can choose, this day, this moment, my attitude, my outlook, my approach and thus, my outcomes. I rejoice in a bountiful Universe that gives me a choice of choices so often. Yay and amen. And so it is!

I stand in awe of the fact that I am alive, that I have been blessed to experience the range of sensations, thoughts, emotions, events, living entities, places and things that have and continue to make up the grand adventure that is my life. How great is it all. Yay and amen!

How grateful I am for all of the facets and aspects of this awesome, wonderful thing called life. I am knowing that, even as human form changes and evolves and becomes something other than what it was last year, last week and even this morning, I have the choice to delight in the blessing that life is. That I have life at all is a God thing, and a very good thing indeed. And I affirm that, and I celebrate that. I know it is, and so it is!

I open to the Truth at the foundation of all things, and so I know when I see darkness, when I feel despair, I also have the firm conviction and the unshakable knowing that Reality is not those temporary ebbs and flows of my very human emotions. I honor my feelings and my emotions, and at the same time I celebrate the Infinite One that contains and transcends all those temporary passages. I know it is, and so it is!

I see that, as the mystics and sages have observed, all things are made new as I witness with awe and wonder. I am grateful to see anew, to perceive afresh, to experience for the first time. By remaining open and by staying in the now, I break free of baggage, my own and others'. I liberate myself. Amen, amen. And so it is!

The Powerhouse Study Group is at a crossroads, and we want your input to determine our direction for the future. All sorts of questions and decisions to make. Do we stay the way we are now? We're having trouble accommodating our young people, and that concerns us. Do we take steps to become a church? I allow myself to get caught up in the grandeur and magnificence of this thing called life, knowing that I can explore and experiment and throw myself into the thick of it, for it is my birthright as a child of the living God to be happy. I affirm that this is so. I know it is, and so it is!

How grateful I am to open to the Divine, as learning, as understanding, as expanding. I am blessed to affirm that my mind, as part of the One Mind, can know and thus, can grow. What a gift it all is. And so it is!
