Weekly Affirmation
I know that the Divine shows up in so many grand and glorious ways and things, including all of the facets and elements of nature. I let nature inspire me, guide me and show me the wisdom of the One. I take my cues from nature this day, and let nature guide my spiritual practice. I am so glad for this knowing. And so it is!
New Updates
The community met after service Sunday, Aug. 15, to discuss our restructuring and financial processes. Meeting notes are available online. We'll also be resuming our children's program this fall, so watch for the latest with our children's program on our Web site!
This Sunday, August 22nd
Tona Casella will facilitate our discussion of being in nature as a spiritual practice. She'll have resources and ideas for us all to play with, and talk about how we see Science of Mind principles reflected in the ideas of ecology and in natural rhythms and cycles.
Our New Location!
The Powerhouse Study Group now meets at 10:00 a.m. every Sunday at 4948 Kootenai St., at the northeast corner of South Orchard Street in Boise. You can click here to view a few photos of the room.
Study Group Format
We are still looking for volunteers to facilitate our study group discussions the second, fourth and fifth Sundays of every month. If you've completed Foundations (formerly Science of Mind 1) and would be willing to guide our group in a talk, exercise, meditation or creative exercise focused on the spiritual principles of Science of Mind, please sign up for an available Sunday gathering.
